| Our
project and management teams have extensive experience and ability
to provide specialists services in design, construction, installation,
commissioning and operational support for Telemetry and Supervisory
Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
The projects undertaken by us include fully automated water treatment
plant operations, dam monitoring and control systems, irrigation
pumping schemes, and remote automatic controls of pumpsets via telemetry.
Hydro-Trent has been involved in the water industry since 1987
and our past installations and vast experiences gained throughout
these years have been used in various applications. These are the
description of services that we provide: -
-
System Feasibility
Point-to-point telemetry systems for remote monitoring of levels,
pressures, flows, pumps and valves. Scada systems can vary from
single plant monitoring systems to large complex network systems.

-
System Design
Provides detailed design service through close client liaison
to determine exact system requirements to meet specifications
and clients’ needs. System design determines types of
master station, number and types of outstations, methods of
communication and types of operator interface. Details such
as memory capacity, data archiving and number of data points
to be handled are also part of the design.
-
Mimic and Graphic Design
Graphic displays and mimic diagrams can vary from pure text
pages, simple block style to 3D ActiveX and simulation displays
to near photographic images of the plants. These are incorporated
in the SCADA software for the operator interface.
-
Data Point Configuration
Systems that are PC or workstation based require each input
and output point to be configured into a live and real database
to ensure a fault-free point allocation, thus saving time and
expenses. Flows, levels, plant status and historical information
can all be displayed in a form best suited for the client or
user.
-
Hardware Design and PLC Programming and Configuration
We provide the selection and design of hardware and outstations
that suit the specifications and requirements of the plant.
Understanding the needs of the automation controls and logic,
PLC programming can be done and uploaded into the PLC to suit
the functional aspects of the process.
